Terms of Service

Welcome to Motions Plus. This store and website are operated by SoftSeason Furniture Inc. ("Motions Plus", "we", "us", "our"). By browsing this site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Account eligibility and responsibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory to place an order. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity that takes place under your account. Please let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Accuracy of product information

We work to describe the Serene Pro Zero-Gravity Massage Chair as accurately as possible, including dimensions, features, materials and specifications. Photography, video and screen colours are for illustration and may differ slightly from the product you receive. We do not warrant that every description, price or other detail on the site is complete or error-free, and we reserve the right to correct errors and to update information at any time without notice.

Placing an order

We currently sell and ship within Canada only. All orders are subject to acceptance and to product availability. We may decline or cancel an order, or limit quantities, at our discretion — including where we suspect fraud, a pricing or listing error, or a request that appears to be for resale. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund it in full.

Pricing and payment

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are exclusive of applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. Prices and promotions may change at any time, and we do not offer price adjustments on prior purchases.

Delivery terms

Delivery timelines and shipping arrangements are described in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Standard delivery within Canada is free curbside delivery by third-party freight partners; remote, northern and island addresses may carry a surcharge, which we will quote before the order ships. Optional in-home services (Room of Choice, White Glove & Setup) are available in selected cities for the fees stated in the Shipping Policy. Title and risk of loss pass to you once your order has been handed to the carrier. Once your chair reaches the local terminal you must accept delivery within 24 hours of the carrier contacting you; after that the carrier may charge storage of $45 per day, which is your responsibility. Where a carrier cannot complete delivery because no one is available to receive the order or access is obstructed, redelivery fees may apply. Please inspect your chair on arrival and report any delivery-related damage within 7 days.

Returns, refunds and cancellations

Massage chairs may be returned within 90 days of delivery, and manufacturing defects or delivery damage should be reported within 7 days. The full conditions, including the requirement that the chair be in good condition with all original components, are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Warranty

The Serene Pro Zero-Gravity Massage Chair is covered by a 3-year limited warranty. Coverage, exclusions and the claim process are set out in our Warranty Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Ownership of content

All content on this site — including text, product copy, photography, video, graphics, logos and page design — is owned by or licensed to SoftSeason Furniture Inc. and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

External content and tools

This site uses third-party services for payments, analytics, advertising and customer messaging, and may link to third-party websites. We do not control those services or sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. It forms part of these terms.

Submitting feedback

If you send us reviews, photos, videos, suggestions or other feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and display that material in connection with our products and marketing, with attribution where practical. You confirm that the material is yours to share and does not infringe anyone else's rights. We are under no obligation to use it, to keep it confidential, or to pay for it.

Health and intended use

Massage chairs are wellness products, not medical devices, and nothing on this site is medical advice or a treatment claim. If you are pregnant, recovering from surgery or injury, have a pacemaker or implanted device, or have any circulatory, spinal, neurological or other health condition, please speak with a qualified healthcare professional before use. Use the chair only as described in the product manual and within the stated height and weight limits.

Prohibited use

You agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape or harvest data from it, to submit false information, or to infringe the rights of others.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind other than those expressly given in our Warranty Policy or required by applicable law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoftSeason Furniture Inc. and its directors, officers, employees and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising out of your use of the site or of any product purchased through it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SoftSeason Furniture Inc. and its directors, officers, employees and agents from any claim, demand, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site or of a product.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms, the site, or a product purchased from us will be heard by the courts of British Columbia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time for operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The version posted on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
